Our latest adventure took us to Lake Placid, where we discovered the enchanting Stagecoach Inn, a real-life fairytale just four hours from New York. This charming gem is only a 5-minute drive from Lake Placid's town center, and from the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat that would leave me feeling inspired and uplifted. We were warmly welcomed by Kelly, the owner, whose passion and love for her unique 4-room inn were infectious and inspiring. Her intimate bar and restaurant are tastefully decorated, reflecting her personal touch, and I admired the thoughtful details throughout that made our stay truly unforgettable. Our room was a lovely surprise, complete with a handwritten note from Kelly and fresh flowers - a beautiful gesture that set the tone for our stay and made us feel like royalty. The bar serves up innovative drinks crafted by skilled bartenders, while the restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience, with each table beautifully set and attentive wait staff that made us feel like we were part of something special. The background music perfectly complements the ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel like we were in a dream. Kelly and her staff truly deserve recognition for their dedication to creating unique and special experiences for every guest - a testament to their exceptional hospitality and commitment to making every stay unforgettable. Wow! That basically sums it up! Beautiful cabin to rent; location is perfect; has everything and more you would possibly need; remarkably clean; comfortable; cozy; relaxing; insanely comfy beds; awesome shower; the indoor fireplace made it more beautiful being it was raining the night of our stay; and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful - and available when I had to contact her!!!! (Unheard of these days to have someone actually answer the phone!) We totally enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. This was one of the nicest places I have stayed in quite some time; I didn't want to leave!

The Stagecoach Inn combines cozy rustic charm with truly outstanding food. The meal I enjoyed with my husband and business associates was delicious - beautifully presented locally focused cuisine. The atmosphere is relaxing with beautiful Adirondack furnishings and cozy nooks for playing a game of cards or backgammon or sipping a cocktail. The staff was super friendly and there is so much to do in Lake Placid in every season - hiking and biking in summer and skiing and Olympic sports in the winter. The Stagecoach is just a wonderful place to relax and unwind!

Dinner here was incredible!!! Fabulous service in a cozy dining room. We shared the mushroom tart, beet salad and pork chop. Everything was beautifully plated and delicious! We will definitely be back!

Can’t say enough great things about our experience at The Stagecoach Inn. We were greeted at the door with smiles and welcomed in to explore the inn. Our waitress was so kind, complimentary of our two children and went above and beyond the entire evening. The food and drinks were 10/10. The inn was so cozy, decorated so tastefully and we can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing place! Super romantic and cozy with the most delicious food we have eaten during our stay in Lake Placid (and the bar has been high). Hearty fine dining with creativity and a little flair! The service was amazing throughout and it feels like there's one big happy family working there in a very genuine way. I'm gluten free and there were plenty of things for me, and the mocktails were delightful. Loved meeting the owner Kellie too - what a lovely lovely lady! We will be back for sure. And hopefully we can stay!

Wow, where do I even start? From the moment I met Kelly, I knew we were in the best hands. She was so kind, patient, and thoughtful. Every step of planning our wedding at The Stagecoach Inn was smooth, easy, and truly enjoyable. On the wedding day itself, the entire team went above and beyond to curate the most beautiful, seamless environment. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the day absolutely magical. We are forever grateful that we chose The Stagecoach Inn for our wedding — it was everything we dreamed of and more. It’s a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

My wife and I stayed at the Stagecoach for two nights in February and we had a wonderful experience. Not only did we stay here, but we enjoyed a romantic, memorable dinner. The food was superb, the service was top notch and the proprietor was friendly and very attentive to all details. If you are looking for a great Adirondack experience in a rustic setting, I would recommend the Stagecoach Inn.
